Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

  The book Fahrenheit 451  has really interested me on how crazy the society is. I could never live in this society because I love learning and reading. I do not understand how the people can just sit and watch T.V. all day. I have to be up moving around most of the time. The society is so sad and the people do not really realize it.

     I love how the author has one guessing and having to figure out the way the society is and why it has become the way it is. Once Bradbury gives one enough clues about why the society is the way it is he has Captain Beatty lecture Montag about the society and why it is that why which helps clear up anything that one was confused about. This keeps you interested but does not have you confused the whole story.

    
    I love the way the author shows how this can happen to our society if we are not careful. It shows people how bad life is if learning is eliminated. Also it shows how stupid and depressed the society is if at least 10 people are overdosing a night and that is normal. This shows how isolated the United States can become and how the power the United States has can go to their heads. This helps us come to the realization on how we do not want this. We need to adjust and make changes to our society to prevent our society from turning into the society in Fahrenheit 451.
