This semester I was able to reach the goal of three independent books and posts. I read three books and my favorite was Legend by Maire Lu. This book always kept you on your toes wanting more. I loved having the freedom to read whatever I wanted and take my time. Also I enjoyed being able to blog about what I wanted to because I felt had more freedom to express how I really felt about the book. I really liked how laid back this project was because it turned into something I didn't mind doing since I had so much freedom.
Some days I did not enjoy blogging because I just wanted to read which I loved to be able to do. One thing that I found quiet a hassle was the commenting because there were so many steps to just get to one persons blog. I felt that commenting was some what unnecessary to do because just looking at other blogs was suitable for me. I also found commenting very stressful.
Next semester I would like to make my posts more thoughtful and deep rather than just skimming the surface like I did this semester. I also would like to try to read 5 books and have some be more challenging than others. Also I would like to try and read a classic novel and not just the teen fiction I read before.

12/1 Girlfriend Material
In the book Girlfriend Material by Melissa Kantor I loved the main character Katie. She is a person most people can relate to. She is just an average every day girl who is pulled out of her fun planned summer to go to an unknown place with her mom but tries to make the best of it. I love the way the author portrays Katie because she is not the"it" girl but is just normal who gets thrown into a life with a bunch of rich people where she feels out of place; which is a feeling most of us have experienced.
I love the way the author starts the book where she is imaging all the cool things any teen girl imagines. Then when she arrives it goes totally wrong and she just wants to go back to Salt Lake City. As the time passes her dreams slowly start to come true till the end of the trip her dreams are exactly what she had dreamed of.
